Creative Textiles Project

mentoring Nicole Duyst
This project was supported by The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) - a partnership between the Queensland Government and Fraser Coast Regional Council.

The Creative Digital Textiles project led by Nicole Duyst,  supported Fraser Coast artists to develop a range of digital textile products based on their original art works including scarves, cushions, fabrics and robes. Participants  explored the entire process, including the selection of artworks , development of artwork files for print, sourcing of printers, liaising with suppliers, sourcing designers, branding and labeling, and marketing and sales.

Nicole provided mentoring to artists who had not benefited from workshops or groups sessions which was delivered through intensive one on one coaching sessions.

"Recently I was a very lucky recipient of Nicole Duyst’s RADF funded mentoring program for creative’s. Nicole has totally changed my art practice with her generous sharing of her enormous knowledge, skills and networks. I am amazed my artwork could transform into beautiful robes!" Jo Williams
